Disclosures

Restoration Index is published by Pleiades Consultancy, a marketing firm. We help service businesses show up in Google and in AI search tools, and some of our clients are restoration companies. You should know that before you use a list here, so this page sets out how we keep the two apart.

No client is listed today

None of our clients appears on Restoration Index, listed or unlisted. We checked every company in the index against our client list in September 2026, and we check again whenever a company is added.

If a client is ever listed

A client would be scored by the same rules as every other company, from the same sources, its own website included. It would appear at the position its evidence earns and nowhere better. Beside its name, on every page it appears on, it would carry this sentence, word for word:

"Commercial disclosure: [Company] is a Pleiades Consultancy client and receives this separate Featured placement. This does not affect its score or organic position."

Any separate Featured box for a client would sit below the fifth company on a list, with no rank number and outside the list's structured data, and its link would be marked as sponsored. Nothing goes on a client's website to earn points unless the service behind it is real.

What isn't for sale

We don't sell listings, positions, badges or scores. No company pays to appear, and no company can pay to be removed. A company can't edit its own entry. It can send a correction, which a person checks against a source before anything changes.

How the site makes money

It doesn't, directly. Restoration Index shows our research method in public, and it gives companies a place to see and fix what the web says about them. If that ever changes, this page changes first.
