Corrections

If something on a company's page is wrong, out of date or missing, we want to fix it. Every item on the site comes from a source, so a correction works by pointing us to a better one.

What to send

  • The address of the page with the error.
  • The item that's wrong, such as a service, the office town, the business name or a credential.
  • A link to a source that shows the right information. For a service or a process, that's the page on your own website that says it. For a registration, a license or a certification, it's the record on the issuing body's own lookup.

A company that isn't listed can use the same route. Its page names the item that kept it off the list, and a source for that item is usually all it takes.

What happens next

A person reads every correction. If the source shows what you say it does, we record it with the date and the link, and the company's score and coverage are worked out again. The change can move a score up or down. If the source doesn't show it, the record stays as it is, and we tell you why.

We don't change a record on request without a source, and we don't remove a company that meets the listing bar because it would prefer not to be listed. A company that has closed, merged or moved to a new website should tell us, with a link, and we'll update or retire its page.

How to reach us

Use the form below. Pick the company if the error is on its page, paste the page address, say what's wrong and add the link to your source. The "Send a correction" link on a company's page opens this form with that company already picked.

A person reads each one and replies within 14 days, by email, with what changed or why nothing did. Nothing on a page changes until we've checked the source.
